How is the diagnosis of gliomas done?

The optimum treatment for a given patient is determined by the tumor’s location, probable symptoms, and the benefits and hazards of various treatment methods (modalities). Surgery is the definitive treatment in resectable tumors followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In in-operable tumors, stereotactic biopsy followed by palliative radiotherapy is given.
